todays plans

This week i have been getting a batch of cards made up as i have been running low on them, so here's my little work table/corner that ui have been sat at and the box is nearly full again.

Today i am planning on getting this step stool that i bought from ikea a few weeks ago painted up in aged white egg shell paint and the coat hanger needs another couple of paints too ready to hang on the bedroom door (this is my 30p find which was blue)

Bag with yo yo's on

I have made this this afternoon ready to give my daughter when she comes home from school, its made with calico fabric and then lined inside with Laura Ashley lemon colour inside, it has four fabric yo yo's sewn on the front of the bag.Luv them yo yo's, made a batch of cards with mini ones on, just one sewn on to some calico with a green stem going down and then stuck to the front of the card.

i can do it...

... i can crochet, well just the basic stitches but i feel a granny blanket is soon to be started.

This is a dish cloth made using white cotton dishcloth yarn.

This is her sitting down...

and laying down flat. Really enjoyed knitting this, there is a whole family of them to do, this one is the girl and she should have had a pink skirt on, but i only had the lemon in cotton wool and as the green is cotton i had to use the same for the skirt. I think she came out quite cute, my daughter will love her and a neighbour has already asked me to make one for her grandaughter, so of the get clicking.

Dog coats

Nothing much to say today, finished some dog or cat coats got them all sewn and posted on ebay and have started knitting a frog which my daughter wanted, so will post pics of that when finished.

Today i tried my hand at amigurumi, i can't crochet so this is my first time at making one of these, i bought the pattern from a very helpful seller on ebay under the name of simpleartsplanet, not only are her patterns so cheap and sent straight to your email she also sent me very clear instructions of how to crochet. So here is my first go.

New wool

New wool which i bought from ebay come this morning, all ready for me to knit some frogs with.Also just ordered some Amigurumi patterns even though i can hardly crochet im going to try and learn so i can start making these.

Look what the post man just brought for me....

This is from a very dear friend of mine called Leesa from New York who i met through a scrapbooking site and we have been friends now for over a year... wow there is a christmas cartridge for my cricut machine three fab books stickers lip gloss, the most lovely cushion hanger and a lovely handmade card.

Was so pleased with how the stripe one turned out i have made a girly flower on for myself to have hung on my bedroom door to store magazines and bits in.

Hi, just posting a pic of something i made tonight, not got much done today as i have been on the school trip to tycross zoo. So heres the pics and if anyone would like the pattern email me and i'll let you know where it is.

The first pic is of the bag itself which is a bag with pockets on the front, the second pic is how the mags will fit inside.

Before and after pics, i bought this blue frame with the horrible print at just a pound, the frame is lovely wood, so thought hey that would paint up nice, and it did.Painted it brown first and then a couple of coats of white, sanded it in places to give it the distressed look and here it is. My big plans for the pics is to yake a black and white pic of eachof the three kids seperate and then cut the pics in hearts and the title is going to say "made with love" on torn paper. Will post more pics when finished.

Also painting up some rolling pins as gifts for the teachers as leaving gifts. Anyone want one i am going to be selling them. I have one in my kitchen saying "Sarah's Kitchen" and everyone loves it and wants one.

Happy Birthday

It's happy birthday to me today so don't think i will be taking any pics or getting any crafting done today.

Door Names

Not got much done today as we have been enjoying the sun and been out in the garde, but did manage to make two door names, if anyone would like one just drop me a line. I have put sticky velcro pads on the back so that i dont have to glue them to the doors.Painted them in Laura Ashley paint called chalk pink.Although i dont think Jason is going to be very impredded when he comes home and his is pink. lol.

Got a friends Birthday coming up so here's what i have made for her this afternoon. Its a small apron with a matching card using the fabric to add a heart to a card to match, also going to paint up a rolling pin with her name on as well.

Just wanted to show you a car boot find, i should have done a before and after, but anyway heres the after, i found this a few sundays aga and it was PURPLE anyway got my crafting head on and thought hety that would look nice painted up, and here it is, and the best bit is it only cost me a pound!

spent tonight learning more about blogging. Also Sara from allabout eden has been very helpful, thanks.So not got any craftig done tonight, once i get on this computer it just leads to one more page, and then another....
