It looks a bit small in this pic but its large enough for Ellie to be wrapped up in.
Here's a close up, the reverse is all in the flower fabric. The corner's is something im going to have to learn a bit more as they didn't look too god so i just made some flowers for the corners and turned them into a happy disaster. Each square has been quilted. I really enjoyed making this and will be making lots more.

You did a great job with your first quilt! There is a tric to make the corners of the binding look good. I only recently discoverd it, after a lady from the longarm quilting service sew the binding of a big quilt for me, so I only had to stitch it down. If you like I will explain!
That's brilliant - what a lovely, vibrant quilt. I really like the flowers at the corners too!
Well done - can't wait to see more.

Very lovely! You did a wonderful job and the flowers on the corners don't look like coverups just making it extra fabulous!

Sometimes the mistakes are the best part! I took one look and loved the flowers then I read it and found out why they are there! How funny!!!
The quilt is lovely - I stuffed up the corners of my first quilt and hid them with crochet flowers so that no one would notice - I think next time I see a quilt I will look carefully at the corners and see if there are any artfully placed flowers!
Yea your first quilt - and a pretty one too! Aren't they fun? Happy Holidays!
oh this is really beautiful and I adore the colours you've used.
Just gorgeous!

This is an amazing first quilt! I just had to post again. As you seen I have just discovered your fantastic blog and can't wait to read more. The flowers at the corners of the quilt add such a pretty dimension and take it from beautiful to fabulous.
What a lovely first quilt - really think the orange and flower fabric combination is brilliant!
Well done you :o)
The corners make it for me - so often the way with sewing that a disaster turns into a new skill or a better end product / design.
Just a quick message to wish you and your family a very merry christmas and a huge thanks for all your kind words over the last few months...
Have fun!!!
