I'm Hooked....

on crochet, i really should be getting our suitcases packed n things ready for our holidays but im trying to take my mind of the flying so if any one has any tips for someone whos scared of flying then please let me know them.Im trying out the tutorial from Lucy at attic24 for the hexagon blanket with some scrap yarn i have left over from the granny squares blanket.
Heres the finished ripple cushion which is also from Lucy's tutorials.
See you all when i get back.

I love the hexes and ripples, I have no tips for flying as I tend to just bite the bullet and get on and put up with teh nerves... after all its worth it to go somewhere for a fantastic break.... mind you I haven't flown somewhere on holiday for 12 years so who am I to give advice! lol

Have a fab holiday

The cushion is beautiful - the colours are really pretty. I am petrified of flying too - so glad we haven't booked our holiday yet, so I don't have to start worrying yet about flying. I don't have any tips really, I just breathe deeply and buy a magazine at the airport and read every page from start to finish. I buy a couple of drinks on the plane, which helps to calm my nerves and I just keep thinking - we'll be there soon....

I really hope you enjoy your holiday, Lynne
